Clallam MRC Meeting, February 27, 2017
Lorenz Sollmann from the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge will give a presentation on the green crab survey efforts the Refuge has been conducting for the last 12 years. The green crab, an invasive species from Europe, has for years been present in Sook Harbor, Canada, and was last year discovered in the San Juan Islands and in Padilla Bay.
The Clallam County MRC meets on the 3rd Monday of each month from 5:30 pm to 7:30 PM.
All meetings are open to the public.
At the meetings, we plan and coordinate with others and on the county's marine resource protection. The MRC also sponsors and co-sponsors events, workshops and other opportunities for individuals and organizations to get involved in resource protection.
Unless otherwise posted, our meetings are held at Port Angeles Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, located at 223 E 4th St, Port Angeles, WA 98362.
